The singer mashed it up The Tortured Poets Section: The Anthology track with “Dress” during the Surprise Songs portion
Over a year on the Eras tour, Taylor Swift continues to find songs from her back catalog to perform for the first time, and at Friday's concert in Amsterdam, “Imgonnagetyouback” made its live debut during the Surprise Songs segment of the concert.
One night after reviving former Eras tour staple 'The Archer', Swift delivered an acoustic rendition of The Tortured Poets Section: The Anthology dance floor. As is customary on this leg of the tour, “Imgonnagetyouback” was combined with another song, on this occasion Reputation“Dress,” which has only been played once before on the Eras tour back at a Los Angeles-area stadium show in August 2023.
For her second performance of Surprise Songs, Swift put together another pair of rare tracks, combining 1989“You're in love” with Forever“Cowboy Like Me.”
With his debut “Imgonnagetyouback”, now only two songs out of 15 tracks Section The tortured poets: The Anthology remain untouched on stage: “Cassandra” and “Robin”. Likewise, three songs from Department of Tormented Poets not yet played, “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can),” “Florida!!!” with Florence Welch and 'So Long, London', which is probably being saved for the European leg of the Eras tour which concludes at the city's Wembley Stadium in August.
The Eras tour continues in Amsterdam on Saturday, before heading to Zurich, Milan and a trio of German cities. The European leg itself will conclude on August 20, the final night of a five-concert return leg at Wembley Stadium. Swift previously played three shows at the venue in June. After a two-month hiatus, the Eras tour will then kick off its final North American leg on October 18 out of Miami.
