We’re about halfway through March now, and what a month it’s been already! On our Weekly News Roundup this week, we’ve got tours, The Oscars, and a “triumphant” gain for Spotify.
Weezer and Violent Femmes both announced tours that will see them playing their classic albums in full this upcoming year. The folk-punk innovators will play their self-titled debut and their sophomore release Hollowed Ground (find tickets here), while Weezer is taking The Blue Album on the road for its 30th anniversary (get those tickets here).
Speaking of returns, Neil Young announced his music will be back on Spotify soon. However, the announcement came with a harrowing message about the streamer’s audio quality and the spread of misinformation around all streaming platforms.

Oppenheimer and Poor Things walked away especially decorated, but there were truly no losers.
