Walmart Plus Price
First, let's talk about the price. Walmart Plus costs $12.95 for one monthly subscriptionor $98 a year if you pay annually (so, you're saving about $56 a year with the annual game compared to a year of monthly payments). Whichever plan you're considering, be sure to take advantage of Walmart Plus' free 30-day trial to try out the service.
Compared to similar membership plans, Walmart Plus is the cheapest option. Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year and Aim circle 360 it costs $99 a year.
Walmart Plus Free Shipping & Returns
One of the biggest benefits with Walmart Plus is the free shipping perk. Almost all shipping is free with Walmart Plus, and many products (including the most popular items) can be delivered in one to three days. That free shipping also extends to same-day delivery of groceries from nearby locations, and Walmart recently removed the minimum order amount for free shipping on groceries. This means you can have as few or as many groceries delivered to your door in hours without paying extra for shipping.
Another area where Walmart Plus shines is returns. Instead of making you leave your return package somewhere, Walmart will pick up the item from your home. No need to repackage, label, and add another command to your program to drop it.
Walmart Plus Deals
Walmart has a huge deals section that anyone can access, but Walmart Plus members have access to better savings — and more of them.
Walmart is holding its own branded sale event, Walmart Plus Week, which is happening now. Similar to Amazon's Prime Day event, Walmart Plus Week gives subscribers access to a number of exclusive deals. See them all here.
But perhaps our favorite deals that benefit from Walmart Plus are that members get early access to discounts during big sales events like Black Friday. Walmart usually offers great savings for these types of events and many items are sold out, making this a very nice perk.
Other Walmart Plus benefits
Shipping and deals are the main money-saving value behind Walmart Plus, but there are a few other attractive benefits that help make the membership even better.
The first is free access to Paramount+. The streaming service, which normally costs $5.99 per month, includes on-demand content such as 1883, Top Gun: Maverickand Survivor. Paramount+ also gives you access to live events like Champions League football.
Another added benefit Walmart Plus members get is 10¢ off at more than 14,000 gas stations, including Walmart, Sam's Club, Murphy USA, Murphy Express, Exxon and Mobil locations. You also get free flat tire repair and road hazard warranty through Walmart Car Care Centers.
Bottom Line: Is Walmart Plus Worth It?
So, is Walmart Plus worth the price? For most buyers, we think it is. It's more affordable than the competition, but offers great perks that will likely save you money in the long run. Walmart Plus is especially good for anyone who already shops (or does some of their shopping) at Walmart, because you'll likely start seeing savings on your everyday purchases.
