November is here, and with 2024 coming to a close soon, music stars are hardly slowing down with their new releases.
The Weeknd and Anitta finally delivered their “São Paulo” collaboration from his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow. The two debuted “São Paulo” in the titular city’s Estádio MorumBIS on Sept. 7 during a special one-night-only show that was livestreamed. “We knew it was too special to just play on stage. We saw great potential in the song and found the beat, which is the heart of the show,” The Weeknd previously told Billboard Brazil.
Also in the collaboration world, Travis Scott joined Future for a “South of France” remix. The original “South of France” appeared on Future’s Mixtape Pluto project, which topped the Billboard 200 albums chart. Meanwhile, Lil Uzi Vert dropped their fourth full-length studio album, Eternal Atake 2. The Philadelphia rapper announced the release of their long-awaited record just one week prior (Oct. 24), sharing a mysterious teaser trailer to promote the album.
Shawn Mendes got personal on his new single, “Heart of Gold,” which was written about a childhood friend who passed away from a drug overdose.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg, with more releases out from The Cure, Megan Moroney, Ethel Cain and a collaboration between Champion, Skrillex, Four Tet and Naisha. Now, we want to know your favorite music release. Check out our Friday Music Guide here, and let us know by voting here or below.
