With February wrapping up, the music of 2024 keeps on giving. This week sees some major releases by SZA, Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake and more superstars.
SZA searches for answers on “Saturn,” a new track that was first previewed in a commercial that aired during a Grammys ceremony where SZA took home three trophies. Timberlake is gearing up for his new album era with “Drown,” the latest offering from his upcoming album Everything I Thought It Was. Gomez, meanwhile, is deeply in love on “Love On,” which fans could easily connect to her growing relationship with Benny Blanco.
Both “Love On” and “Single Soon” — which debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 — are expected to appear on Gomez’s upcoming fourth album, which the Rare Beauty founder has not yet announced. She has, however, confirmed that a new LP is in the works, telling Vanity Fair in February that her follow-up to 2020’s Rare will be “really powerful, strong, very pop.”
TWICE treated fans with another mini-album, With YOU-th, delivering six pop hits. Over on the rock side, MGK (a.k.a Machine Gun Kelly, who has seemingly formalized his nickname as his official artist name) gets personal on “Don’t Let Me Go”
