Khalid just released his new album 'Sincere' and to celebrate, we're looking back at some of his impressive chart achievements. Here's Billboard Explains: Khalid's Massive Chart Success. Khalid made his Billboard chart debut in 2016 with “Location.” It spent five weeks at No. 2 on the Hot R&B Songs chart and became his first Billboard Hot 100 hit, peaking at No. 16. His next single “Young Dumb and Broke” was also a success, topping the Hot R&B Songs chart for 11 weeks and peaking at No. 18 on the Hot 100. Both songs appeared on his debut album, American Teen, which dominated the Top R&B Albums chart for 18 weeks and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Soon after, Khalid racked up his first three top 10 Hot 100 hits thanks to a series of collaborations. He teamed up with Logic and Alessia Cara on “1-800-273-8255,” which peaked at No. 3 in 2017. The following year, his duet with Normani, “Love Lies,” peaked at No. 9, and in 2019, he joined forces with Benny Blanco and Halsey on “Eastside,” another No. 9 hit. The same year, Khalid added two more top 10 hits with his single “Better,” which peaked at No. 8, and “Talk,” which ran to No. 3. Both songs were from Khalid’s sophomore album, ‘Free Spirit,’ which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
