The Broadway Revival The Who's Tommy is nearing its end. The final performance of the Broadway run will take place on Sunday, July 21 at the Nederlander Theater in New York. A national tour is in the works, starting in Providence, Rhode Island, in the fall of 2025.
The Who's Tommy first appeared on Broadway between 1993 and 1995, and the show returned in March. It was nominated for Best Revival of a Musical at the 2024 Tony Awards.
According The New York Timesticket sales for The Who's Tommy have slowed down since its spring release. Producers put up $15.7 million for the revival, and the money hasn't been recouped, according to The times.
