With the '90s style era set to return in 2024, Tommy Hilfiger got creative for this year's New York Fashion Week and not only rented a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry to host his show, he also brought in some of his legends Hip-Hop to participate. at the holidays.
This past Sunday (Sept. 8), Tommy Hilfiger gave passengers on his Staten Island ferry a big treat when he had the Wu-Tang Clan come on and perform for everyone lucky enough to attend the event. With Method Man, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon The Chef decked out in Tommy Hill-Fly sh*t on board, the Hip-Hop icons took everyone on a trip down memory lane as they belted out classic hits like “CREAM , ” and “Ice Cream” as Questlove manned the 1 and 2 on the steel wheels.
We'd be lying if we didn't envy everyone on that boat for this experience.
While we know this was probably a once-in-a-lifetime show, we wouldn't be crazy if Wu were to bite the bullet and throw a Staten Island Ferry concert series sometime in the future. I'm just saying.
Watch the legends of the Wu-Tang Clan do their thing and let us know if you'd buy tickets to this kind of show in the comments section below.
