Wynonna Judd has such an extensive career, it's only fitting that Las Vegas is the place to celebrate 40 years in country music with three biggest hits in December.
The 60-year-old singer-songwriter announced Monday (July 8) that she will be heading to Sin City for a trio of concerts on December 11, 13 and 14 at The Venetian Resort. Why; As she says, “Sometimes you just need to throw yourself a big party!”
“This is a landmark year for me,” Judd added in a triumphant Instagram post, reminiscing about her time on The Judds with her mother Naomi Judd. “Mum and I played our first show in 1984, which means I've been playing for 40 years. 🤯 That's more than half of my life! The Greatest Hits celebration in Las Vegas is an opportunity for the fans and I to celebrate together. You've all been with me for so long and I hope everyone gets to hear their favorite song.”
“How many hits can we fit into one show? LET'S DISCOVER!!!!!! 🤩🎶🎰🎲,” she added, noting that the presale for her Wynation Fan Club starts at 10 a.m. PT Tuesday (July 9), followed by a general sale on Friday (July 12).
The “To Be Loved By You” singer also shared a celebratory video in honor of the news. In the clip, she joins her husband Cactus Moser outside in her backyard – where a donkey and other farm animals roam – for an impromptu game of roulette.
“I can't think of a better way to celebrate 40 years in country music than to play in Vegas,” he says at the end of the video.
