Yvie Oddly is not one to shy away from the limelight, having won his eleventh season RuPaul's Drag Race in 2019, then returning to the Werk Room in 2022 for All the stars seventh season. While they may be known for all things weird and wonderful, the drag queen's life hasn't been all that glamorous. All About Yvie: Into the Oddity aims to bring a new perspective to the unique and unconventional drag queen through her own narrative as she takes you on a journey through their lives before and after fame. The beginning will see the 30-year-old pen for life growing up in Boulder, Colo. and let their time follow Drag Race and the after effects, which seasoned fans know was anything but a positive experience.

The memoir was released on Wednesday (June 19) in the midst of Pride month and is available via Target, Walmart and Amazon on sale for under $25.

Oddly has spoken out about their treatment on the reality competition show Drag, referring to the producers as “the greediest, most calculating, capitalist culture thieves”. in X as well as claiming the show didn't pay them for more than a year after winning.

However, in their new book, the drag queen and gay icon reveal that they have moved on from the negative experience and hope to use their platform to inspire positivity and hope in others.
