Zach Bryan had an unexpected guest during his The Quittin' Time tour concert on Thursday (July 25) at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
During Brian's set, a fan rushed the stage while Brian played.
Although taken aback, Bryan seemed to play it cool, removing his ear monitors and then waving with the fan. As other members of Bryan's band then stepped between Bryan and the fan, the fan raised his hands in triumph, leading the crowd to cheer and some audience members to also raise their hands and hats in the air. The band members then pushed the fan towards the exit of the stage.
Brian then stepped up to the microphone and said, “I have no idea who that was.”
The “I Remember Everything” hitmaker also said, “Don't hide on this stage,” but quickly added, “This kid is a legend,” before continuing with his set.
Bryan's The Quittin' Time tour kicked off in March with shows at Chicago's United Center and will conclude in December with shows in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the BOK Center. Among the artists opening for Bryan throughout the tour on various dates are Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Sheryl Crow, the Turnpike Troubadours and Sierra Ferrell.
Bryan isn't the only artist who had a fan rush the stage last night. Jason Aldean was performing in Savannah, Georgia at the Enmarket Arena on the headliner of his Highway Desperado tour when a fan rushed the stage while Aldean was playing. The fan was quickly ushered offstage by security guards while Aldean remained in the spotlight at his microphone.
Aldean's Highway Desperado tour kicked off in May in Oklahoma and will run through October. The tour features guests Hailey Whitters and Lauren Alaina in select cities as well as Chase Matthew, Austin Snell and Dee Jay Silver on all dates.
