The dance music superstar and aspiring Saiyan has been celebrating a massive week of announcements. He released his surprise third album, Teloson Friday before revealing a rare b2b set with Madeon for his Zedd In The Park afterparty in Los Angeles.
Now, Zedd has announced a collaboration with one of the most iconic anime series of all time, Dragon ball. calling It's an “incredible honor,” Zedd revealed that he was selected to write the theme song for the new installment of the series. DAIMA Dragon Ball.
“To have the opportunity to write music for a show that influenced so many of my childhood years is an absolute dream come true,” Zedd said.

Aside from the EDM collaboration, this series is especially notable because it is the last one its creator, Akira Toriyama, worked on before his tragic death in March. The legendary manga artist wrote the entire story and contributed to the character designs, according to Game Radar.
The official trailer for DAIMA Dragon Ball The trailer includes a brief teaser of Zedd’s theme song, titled “Jaka Jaan.” While fans will have to wait until the show’s premiere to hear the full song, the trailer reveals that it was produced in collaboration with Yukinojo Mori and KEEN (C&K).
DAIMA Dragon Ball will premiere on October 11 on Japan's Fuji Television.
