Zeds Dead and Flux Pavilion, two of the biggest names in dubstep and bass, have finally released their first collaboration, joining forces with DeathbyRomy for “Waves.”
The new track captures the signature sounds of all three, leading to a dreamy collaboration. DeathbyRomy's haunting vocals pave the way for ethereal, synth-filled soundscapes to flourish in the mix before we encounter the growls and warbling bass of the drop. The simple anthem fits perfectly into the festival vibe and is something fans can certainly expect to hear from each artist all summer long.
While this may only be Zeds Dead's second song of the year following the release of “Back Bus” (featuring REAPER), Flux Pavilion has been on a tear. Earlier this year, he dropped collaborations with Excision and Eliminate and revealed there are more to come with artists like Wavedash, Wooli and Jessica Audiffred.
