Zeds Dead have pulled back the dimensional curtain on their second album, Return to the spectrum of intergalactic happiness.
Due out in early March 2025, it will be Zeds Dead's first full-length album since their timeless 2016 debut. Aurora borealis. Today's reveal comes with a tour announcement, suggesting that the dubstep veterans aren't just releasing tracks, they're crafting an entire universe.
“Return to the spectrum of intergalactic happinessa phrase spoken in a dream is coming to life in the form of our second full-length album and tour… We can't wait to show you what we've been working on and take you into the world we've been to. been creating,” Zeds Dead said in an announcement on their social media.
The duo's statement hints at world-building beyond mere beats and drops, promising to drag fans through whatever interdimensional portal they've been playing with in the studio. But for a group that's spent more than a decade pushing boundaries and melting minds, this dream-inspired venture feels less like a starting point and more like a natural evolution.
For now, the electronic music community will have to hold its breath to see how far this rabbit hole goes. You can exhale this Friday when the album's first single, “Sweet Memories,” hits streaming platforms.
