It only takes one star to become a household name, but a truly talented pedigree to create a strong family legacy.
That's the case with many of music's biggest names, who have not only passed their talents on to their children, but invited their offspring into the studio to record collaborations before they've even run out of booster seats. Take Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter for example: The two girls have already done something that thousands of artists would kill for – a duet with Beyoncé, who happens to be their mom. The older sister is one of the youngest Grammy winners in history, thanks to her nine-year-old appearance in Bey's “Brown Skin Girl” music video, while six-year-old Rumi's cameo in “Protector” was one of his liveliest parts “Texas Hold 'Em Superstar Cowboy Carter album. It helps to know the boss.
Once in a blue moon, though, a musician's child will grow up to be a superstar just like his parents. Just look at Billy Ray Cyrus, who collaborated with Miley's daughter Hannah Montana days before the “Flowers” singer became a full-fledged pop icon in her own right. Nancy Sinatra, Matteo Bocelli and Landon Barker have also developed their own successful music careers independently of their parents over the years, keeping the family business going strong.

Alicia Keys & Egypt
Keys introduced her son Egypt to a cover of “Over the Rainbow” for her Sweet dreams ER. The singer also has a second boy, Genesis, with star producer husband Swizz Beatz.

Andrea, Matteo & Virginia Bocelli
Having passed his vocal talents on to his children, Andrea Bocelli often collaborates with his second son, Matteo – whom he shares with ex-wife Enrica Cenzatti – and has also taken up singing with his daughter Virginia, who was welcomed in 2012 with now-wife Veronica Berti. The trio released a holiday album, Family Christmasin 2022.
Patriarch Bocelli also has an older son Amos with his ex-wife Cenzatti.

Beyoncé, Blue Ivy & Rumi Carter
Beyoncé has featured both of her girls in songs, starting with firstborn Blue Ivy Carter on 2013's “Blue” and following up in 2019 Lion King: The Gift track “Brown Skin Girl.” Little sister Rumi would later make her musical debut on Bey's “Protector.”

Both of Armstrong's sons Joey and Jakob – whom he shares with wife Adrienne – grew up to be musicians. And while the trio hasn't been in the studio yet, the Green Day frontman has appeared several times with his sons, most notably covering Tommy James & the Shondells' “I Think We're Alone Now” with them. Billy Ray Cyrus has collaborated with daughter Miley Cyrus on a number of projects, including several songs for the Disney Channel Hannah Montana franchise, in which they both starred. She also duetted with her pop great on the final track of the 2007 album Finally home“Ready, Set, Don't Go.”
Billy Ray also shares Brandi, Trace, Braison and Noah with ex-wife Tish Cyrus, as well as Christopher Cody with ex-girlfriend Kristen Luckey.

Eminem featured his daughter Hailie Jade on 2002's “My Dad's Gone Crazy.” The Eminem Show LP. The album also includes a track titled “Hailie's song”.
