21 Savage lives out the American Dream. The London-based Atlanta rapper checked another box on his ascent when he got his name year'small TIME100 list of the most influential people in the world.
The announcement was made on Wednesday (April 17) as 21 is the only representative of hip-hop to receive the prestigious honor in 2024.
As a fellow artist related to the story of 21, Burna Boy penned a quote showering love on his 'Sittin on Top of Da World' partner in the film, a fitting title for the Slaughter Gang honcho's latest accolade.
“I trust my gut when it comes to my music and collaborations, and I'm naturally drawn to artists like 21 Savage – those who stay grounded in their beliefs and constantly defy the limitations placed on them. As a 21-year-old, I know what it's like to overcome challenging principles and that makes his success that much more remarkable,” began the Afrobeats artist.

21 Savage spent most of 2023 on the road as part of Drake's It's All A Blur tour. It kicked off '24 with fireworks after its anticipated release American Dream album in January.
Savage's third solo LP debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 133,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Jan. 18, per Luminate. It is his fourth chart-topping album overall.
