Whatever you do, don't ask 21 Savage about the ongoing rap beef.
The Atlanta rapper — who has been keeping quiet on the matter — was on Instagram Live on Sunday (May 12) while listening to General TK's songI spy” when fans in the comments asked his thoughts on Drake vs. Everyone. Tired of fans always asking him this question whenever he goes live on Instagram, he finally broke his silence.
“Don't keep talking about my mom – on Live we talk about no mom – relative beef,” she said. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. They'll figure that out eventually.”
Hopefully this ends all the talk about what 21 thinks about the rap civil war. He chose to keep Switzerland and Sweden in the loop, letting the parties involved screw things up. 21 Savage has worked extensively with both acts. He most recently co-starred on Drake's 2022 album Her loss and has done three projects alongside Metro Boomin: 2016's Savage Mode EP, 2017 Without warning with Offset and 2020 Savage Mode II. Metro also produced the songs 'Mr. Right Now” and “Knife Talk,” both featuring Drake and 21 Savage.
Fans may have been asking his thoughts because on the diss track “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar referenced Drake's relationship with 21 and the city of Atlanta, rapping, “You run to Atlanta when you need a balance check/ Let me break it down to you, that's the real n—a challenge/ You called Future when you didn't see the club/ Lil Baby helped you lift your tongue/ 21 gave you false cred on the street/ Thug made you feel like you're mud in your head / Quavo said you can be from the Northside/ 2 Chainz said you good but he lied.
21 seems to mind his own business and let things sort themselves out.
