Crazy news coming out of the pop world as Doja Cat's mother has just filed a restraining order against her son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, for verbally and physically abusing his sister, Doja Cat.
TMZ reports that Doja's mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, just filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son. Sawyer alleges that Dlamini not only destroyed and stole some of Doya's personal property, but also laid hands on her resulting in cuts, bruises and even knocking out some of her teeth. Jesus!
While Doja remains mum about the situation, her mom takes on her protective duties and takes the situation to court to ensure the safety of Doja, herself and her 13-year-old grandson.

In the documents, Doja's mother claims that Raman is also verbally abusive towards his famous sister “in a very humiliating and humiliating manner [sic]And she says Raman made Doya feel “insecure and hurt”.
As for her own safety, Doja's mom claims that Raman has physically abused and threatened her several times over the past year, claiming that the most recent incident happened earlier this month.
The judge granted Doja's mother legal protection from Raman pending a hearing on a permanent restraining order, but did not grant the same protection to Doja Cat — instead saying the artist would have to file her own request for a restraining order .
While we're sure Doja would prefer to handle this situation outside of the court system with her brother, we're hoping for her own safety that she follows suit and files for a restraining order of her own. Having an abusive sibling who has no problem knocking out a tooth or two isn't the kind of situation that will fix itself. But hey, that's just our two cents.
Keep in mind that this isn't the first restraining order Doja's mom has filed against her son. However, since the previous order has expired, he had to go get a new one. It's just a sad state of affairs all around.
