From Tomorrowland's iconic Mainstage to your playlists, Afrojack and Timmy Trumpet's new anthem is here, and it features a familiar voice. They've joined forces with Lil Jon to release “We Can't Stop,” an electrifying psytrance track designed to decimate crowds.
“Lil Jon is without a doubt the official voice of most of the partisan anthems our generation has witnessed,” Trumpet said in a press release. “What an honor to finally work with the legend himself, and to be together on another production with the one and only Afrojack is the icing on the cake.”
Prior to today's release, the song had been one of the most anticipated idents of Afrojack's spectacular performance on the Tomorrowland main stage in Belgium last year.
It doesn't take long to realize that “We Can't Stop” is a festival anthem. Out now on Tomorrowland Music, the song's party-starting sound begins in a nanosecond thanks to its screeching alarm, signaling the chaos to come.
Lil Jon's classic ad-libs build hype ahead of the first drop, which is on par with Timmy Trumpet's relentless production. Afrojack's Dirty Dutch influences take over on the second release, bringing the track home with a cathartic finish.
