Jermaine Dupri thought he nailed it, but X-users strongly disagreed.
Usher's highly anticipated Apple Music Halftime performance at Super Bowl LVIII blessed us with plenty of moments worth talking about and, more importantly, laughing about.
One person taking heat on social media is So So Def quarterback Jermaine Dupri and his choice of drop, which many feel was so trashy.
Dupri took to the stage during the show, rocking a short black suit with a white button underneath paired with some eyebrow-raising socks and loafers.
Many viewers initially thought Durpi was CeeLo Green. One person wrote on X, formerly Twitter“MY MOM THOUGHT JERMAINE DUPRY IT WAS CEELO LMFAOOOOOOOO.”
Others couldn't help but gloat over Dupri's fit, especially his choice of socks.
Even Suge Knight got in on the fun. Also, how the hell does account X run from jail?
Of course, the slander of his suit didn't go unnoticed and Dupri decided to respond via Instagram by showing that his socks were from Louis Vuitton.
She captioned the post, Ha!! ok i don't have time for you last night i was very drunk me and my friends played the super bowl! so i really see you beat me!! But I will say it's funny, oooo!! @pharrell do you see this!? P.S. we came into this game with our clothes on backwards, I'm not a normal nigga.”
Little did Dupri know that his response by showing us that he bought a pair of overpriced socks would only make matters worse.
