Paramount Pictures has set a release date for its much-delayed The naked weapon reboot, which will now hit theaters on July 15, 2025, according to Variety.
Starring Liam Neeson, the as-yet-untitled remake will be directed and executive produced by The Lonely Island's Avika Schaffer, who co-wrote the script with the writing duo of Dan Gregor and Doug Mand (Chip 'n Dale: Ranger Rescue, crazy ex-girlfriend). Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins produce the film through their company Fuzzy Door. Not much else is known about the project at this time.

In addition to naked gun reboot, Paramount also added release dates for Paw Patrol 3 and monitoring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem to your schedule. The first will be released on July 31, 2026 and the second is scheduled for October 9, 2026.
