Sexyy Red juggles her man and her sneaky hookup in the naughty music video for “I Might,” featuring Summer Walker, which was released on Friday (March 1).
In the Des Grey-directed video, Red goes undercover with Atlanta rapper Hunxho (who appears on Advertising sign2024 R&B and Hip-Hop Artists to Watch) while battling her main boo, Lil Scrappy. But don't tell Sexyy's daddy 'cause he'll let you leakin' in an alley,” she sneers on the chorus. When Lil Scrappy returns to her crib to be kissed and made up, she finds Hunxho and his crew ready to make out. And Sexy's reaction might just be one new internet meme. Meanwhile, Walker sings throughout the clip about how makeup sex makes all this drama worth it.
“I Might” appeared on the deluxe version of her second mixtape, Hood Hot Princesswhich peaked at No. 13 on Top Rap Albums, No. 21 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 62 on the Billboard 200. It also marks the second collaboration between Sexyy and Summer since 'Sense Dat God Gave You” of 2022.”
The St. Louis rapper welcomed her second child earlier this year — and in a music video for Drake's “Rich Baby Daddy,” featuring SZA, she teased what it would be like if Drake were the father. “What should I do? My water just broke,” Red asked Drake in the video before asking to call SZA. “Are you dumb? Can you stop? We have to go,” SZA scolded him before they got into the minivan and head to the hospital.
