Cardi B dropped a new burner on Thursday night (March 7), teasing what appears to be her next single in a TikTok video from the recording studio. Barefoot and dressed in sweats, a white tank top, round glasses, no make-up and her hair straightened, Cardi ditched her typical edgy lines with a spare, g-funk style, making it clear once again that haters don't have to apply .
“Me against you and you know who they pick,” he rhymes to set up the untitled track. “I can survive the coldest conditions… B–ches wash, soap the dishes/ Apply pressure like boa constrictors/ One b–ch, two b–ch, old b–ch, new b–ch, none of y'all they're gonna do s–t/ I'm in Miami getting on cruise ships.'
Dancing along to her own track, Cardi delivers the ultimate ultimatum, rapping, “I see my fans hooking up, I'm like, 'What the f–k?/ If you're scared, then say the hoe is enough. ” The post received a few comments from famous friends, including SZA, who wrote, “the hair gives,” and Camila Cabello, who added, “sheeeeesh.”
At press time, Cardi had not released any additional information about the track, though the caption of her TikTok post, “15” and a winking emoji, seemed to indicate that it was set to drop on March 15. If the song is released next week, it would mark the follow-up to last week's 'Like What (Freestyle)'. She also dropped a sexy video for the freestyle in which she pays tribute to Missy Elliot and tries on a wide variety of eclectic outfits in the clip directed by estranged rapper husband Offset. Last month, Offset told his ex to “stop being scary” and drop her second album already.
