The singer's first trip in five years will now conclude in New York after the last seven shows of the tour were pulled from the schedule
A month later Jennifer Lopez has announced her first North American tour in five years, with the singer quietly canceling a handful of shows from her This Is Me… Now trek.
Ticket buyers of the tour's final seven shows — in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston, a string of dates that ran from Aug. 20 to Aug. 31 — were recently notified of the cancellation, with no explanation as to why the broadcasts were suddenly stopped.
Every Ticketmaster page for the show was also removed and replaced with the message, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to receive a refund.”
While Lopez and Live Nation have not commented on the matter, tour-dates-8608453″ target=”_blank”>according EW, a “logistical issue through the promoter” is the reason for the cancellations, and the shows could potentially be rescheduled. However, for now, they were immediately canceled in order to refund the customers.
As it stands, Lopez's This Is Me… Now tour will wrap up after a two-night stand at New York's Madison Square Garden on August 16 and 17. See Lopez's updated itinerary below and click here for information on how to purchase tickets for the shows still happening.
