PartyNextDoor released his new single “Real Woman” on Friday (March 15) after finishing his headlining set on Billboard's The STAGE at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
And as he closes his set, Advertising signHis latest cover star has revealed the news all his fans have been waiting for: His upcoming fourth studio album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4, will be released on April 26 via OVO Sound. It marks his first full-length album in four years since then Partymobilewhich debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
The album also comes 10 years after his debut album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 2. His second single “Her Way” was a big hit last year: The sped-up version of the song became the most popular TikTok song of 2023 in Canada and the third most popular in the United States.
Produced by Noah “40” Shebib, Eli Brown and Prep Bijan, “Real Woman” uses bright, shimmering synths, trap hi-hats and a backing choir for the hypnotic late-night anthem. The single follows “Resentment,” which debuted in the Hot R&B Songs top 10 last July, and “Her Old Friends” from January 2023.
The R&B singer-songwriter and producer talked about his highly anticipated LP recently Advertising sign cover theme. “This is the hardest album I've ever worked on. This is the proudest I've ever felt,” he said. “I'm excited to hone even more for the next one [one]. I'm in love with how hard you have to work for it.”
Following his SXSW set, Party will perform at Rolling Loud California tonight before traveling to Australia next week for the five-date Souled Out festival.
