After his Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by law enforcement on Monday (March 25) following his involvement in an ongoing federal sex-trafficking investigation, Sean 'Diddy' Combs' attorney Aaron Dyer sent Advertising sign a statement calling the raid an “unprecedented ambush” and labeling the devastation against his client a “witch hunt.”
“Yesterday, there was a gross abuse of force at the military level as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residences,” says Dyer Advertising sign on Tuesday (March 26). “There is no excuse for the excessive display of force and hostility displayed by the authorities or the way in which the children and his staff were treated. Mr. Combs was never arrested, but he spoke and cooperated with authorities.”
Dyer adds that Diddy and his family have not been arrested and are free to travel even after yesterday's incident.
“Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested or restricted in their ability to travel in any way. This unprecedented ambush — combined with an advanced, coordinated media presence — is leading to a premature rush to judgment for Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on false accusations leveled in civil lawsuits. No criminal or civil liability has been established with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name.”
Executed by Homeland Security, officers swarmed Diddy's Los Angeles residence and the footage showed his sons, Justin and Christian Combs, being held outside the property. Earlier today, it was reported that Diddy has agreed to sell his stake in Revolt TV. The news comes months after he resigned as chairman amid allegations of sexual assault. According TMZCombs sold his remaining shares to an undisclosed buyer, and the deal was reportedly finalized this week.
