If you needed any proof that Bruce Springsteen is fully recovered from the peptic ulcer that derailed his 2023 tour, look no further than the performance he and the E Street Band gave at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Thursday night .
The show lasted a total of three hours and 18 minutes and featured an extensive set list of 32 songs that included several tracks that had not been played live in almost a decade. What's more, Springsteen's wife, Patti Scialfa, made her first appearance on the 2024 leg of the tour, joining her husband for performances of “Tougher Than the Rest” and “Fire.”

The setlist also included several notable covers, including John Lee Hooker's “Boom Boom,” which opened the show, Jimmy Cliff's “Trapped”; the traditional Cajun waltz “Jole Bloon”; and “Twist and Shout” from Top Notes.
Of Springsteen's own material, other notable songs played included “Prove It All Night,” “The Promised Land,” “Hungry Heart,” “Backstreets,” “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight),” and “Bobby Jean.”
Springsteen and the E Street Band are just getting started, as they have several tour dates scheduled across the US, UK, and Europe through much of 2024. Tickets can be purchased here.
