It looks like Crocs smell blood in the water, as Adidas and Nike's popularity on these streets has been waning lately, and they're officially getting into the sneaker game with their first true outdoor silhouette.
According High concern, the long-teased Crocs Juniper sneaker will finally see the light of day as the Salehe Bembury crafted creation is set to hit shelves on May 30th. The news comes months after the sneaker was teased on social media and threw everyone for a loop, as Crocs is mostly known for releasing clogs, sandals and flip flops. Now that they are officially releasing a new line of sneakers, Nike and Adidas can expect some new competition in the footwear space as people absolutely love Crocs.
Per High concern:
As you can probably tell, the Crocs Juniper sneaker echoes Bembury's love of nature, which has also manifested itself in other collaborations such as matching Moncler teams and water-inspired runners.
Before the official release, the designer himself took the Crocs Juniper sneaker for a test hike or two. With their subtle design elements, the sneakers look like they can handle the outdoors with ease. Redesigned Crocs vents and mesh detailing ensure a breathable fit, while the dark-like sole detailing looks to offer excellent traction.
Yes, these will be a big hit.
While May 30th is the official release date, there's no word on where they'll be sold or how much they'll be available for, but you better believe people are going to drop them as the hype is sure to increase as the release date approaches .
