Las Vegas' Sphere has its next passenger in line. The sensational venue announced Thursday (June 13) that Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Eagles will roll into town in the fall for eight residency shows over four weekends.
Concerts will begin on September 20th and run until October 19th, with general on-sale expected to begin on June 21st here. All-in ticket prices start at $175, and to ensure they get into the hands of fans, an artist presale will begin Tuesday (June 18) at 1 p.m. ET. The Live National presale will begin on June 20 at 1:00 PM ET. Limited VIP ticket packages will go on sale Tuesday also at 1pm ET and include premium seating, exclusive merchandise and parking.
The full list of dates for the Eagles residency are: September 20-21, September 27-28, October 11-12 and October 18-19.
The Eagles will take over from Dead & Company, who brought their never-ending road trip to the venue on May 16 (with dates scheduled through August 10). The Sphere debuted their show on September 29th with the first of U2's 40 shows titled U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere which ran until March 2nd. Jam icons Phish slipped in soon after for a four-show tour late April at the immersive 18,000-seat venue that has garnered rave reviews for its 160,000-square-foot 16K LED screen and seat-shaking array of more than 1,500 speakers.
