Post Malone has officially announced his country album, F-1 Trillion, is out August 16th via Mercury Records/Republic. He’s also dropped the latest duet from the project, “Pour Me a Drink” featuring Blake Shelton.
Posty isn’t letting on much else about the album at this time, but “Pour Me a Drink” is exactly what you’d expect: a catchy, inoffensive country bro collab good for pounding Bud Lights with your friends and not much else.
“Pour Me a Drink” is the second preview of F-1 Trillion after Posty’s latest No. 1 single, “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen, which has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks.
In April, Post Malone kicked off his country rollout in earnest with a set at Stagecoach Music Festival filled with covers of songs by the likes of Tyler Childers, George Strait, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, and Randy Travis.
The artist’s packed 2024 has also seen him perform “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl and do high-profile collaborations with Beyoncé (“Levii’s Jeans”) and Taylor Swift (“Fortnight”). His last album, Austin, was released just last summer.
