Beyoncé tops the UK charts this week, earning her second career double chart as Cowboy Carter and “Texas Hold 'Em” at the same time safe top.
Midweek stage leader “Texas Hold 'Em” (via Columbia/Parkwood Ent) climbs 3-1 for fifth straight week at summit. It's one of three tracks from the album to impact the UK top 10 on the Official UK Singles Chart, published on Friday, April 5 – a career best for Bey – as “Jolene” bows at No.8 and “II Most Wanted” featuring Miley Cyrus opens her account at No. 9. Throughout her career, Bey has amassed 23 top 10 singles in the UK.
Beyonce previously managed two simultaneous top 10 entries on two separate occasions – in 2008 with “If I Were A Boy” and “Listen” and in 2009 with “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)', reports the official chart company.
As mentioned earlier, Cowboy Carter is the No. 1 all-time on the national album chart and Bey's fifth solo leader.
