Billie Eilish and Finneas were among the performers at the 2024 Grammy Awards, teaming up with a string orchestra to perform “What Was I Made For?” by Greta Gerwig Barbie soundtrack.
“What was I made for?” Eilish earned five of Eilish's six nominations this year, including Best Song Written for Visual Media, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video, Record of the Year, and The song of the year. “Never Felt So Alone,” her collaboration with Labrinth, also earned a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. So far, she won the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Barbie Land had a great year at the Grammys; Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice's “Barbie World,” Dua Lipa's “Dance the Night” and Ryan Gosling's “I'm Just Ken” were among Eilish's fellow nominees in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category. Barbie It also won a Grammy for Best Score for Visual Media, while “Dance the Night” is up for Song of the Year.
