Baldy James was in the running for several centuries this year.
He first released the critically acclaimed album Leadership penalty with producer Nicholas Craven and another great project followed Beyond the tracks along with Griselda producer Conductor Williams.
He is now planning to release another collaborative album 'He's the producer, I'm the rapper'. This time he links up with New York mainstay Harry Fraud and just released the lead single on “Cecil Fielder” with fellow Detroiter Tee Grizzley. The new song features the two Detroit rappers dropping that “real original D-Boy sh–,” as Tee notes at the top of the track, with the title name dropping a Detroit Tigers legend in Fielder. Harry ties them together with some smooth production, a sound he's cultivated and made his signature over the years.
Bars like, “Two spots on them joints, can't complain at all/ The real D-boy from Detroit, come to yay and the dog/ He should probably hang it up before them bi—es frame everybody/ Nah, n — as ain't gang with us if we aren't feel no pain with y'all” by Boldy, and “Twelfth birthday, my pops give me a stack and that sh– smelled like crack/ Before God gave me everything these dreams to rap, i dreamed of scorpion prints” by Tee proves why these guys are two of the best when it comes to rapping about Detroit street life.
Boldy kept himself busy. We've already mentioned the two albums he's already released in 2024, he recently dropped a chill video with frequent collaborator The Alchemist, too. “Ten Pints” isn't attached to an upcoming tape by them, as far as we know. However, we will make sure to keep our ear to the road in this regard.
No date has been set yet The Bricktionary, but is scheduled to be released before the end of the year. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
