Alamo Records continues to gather talent following the rapid rise of Florida native BossMan Dlow. His song “Get In With Me” debuted on the Hot 100 earlier this month at No. 68 and, as of last week, climbed to No. 59 thanks to the record's newest visuals. BossMan gave fans more insight into his upcoming plans through a chat with Advertising sign in the threads last Thursday (February 22).
BossMan expressed his gratitude for his Hot 100 feat, saying Advertising sign he's still impressed that he was able to land on the charts for the first time in his burgeoning career. “It's not real. Makes me want to go on and on [it] it motivates me to keep falling. I want to be on top,” he wrote. BossMan's viral hit first gained traction on TikTok after he initially performed the song as a freestyle for Florida-based freestyle series Creepin Through the Streetz.
BossMan hopes to continue to shine a light on Florida like his Alamo crew Rod Wave, currently releasing three No. 1 albums to his name. St. Petersburg staple Wave recently topped the Billboard 200 charts last year with Nostalgia. “Florida had a lot of unique talent and different sounds,” said BossMan. “It's a community. It helped me start new trends and push boundaries.”
With his inspirations ranging from Wiz Khalifa to Babyface Ray and Future, BossMan wants to keep his momentum going by staying consistent and not stuck in the moment. After the release of his first project 2 Slippery at the Alamo last December, BossMan will “drop another mixtape, [doing] videos and more shows,” to double down on his plans to become an all-star talent.
“This music motivates,” he said. “I want future releases to energize you and make you want to get up and make 100 million.”
