Dan Snaith returns to his Caribou moniker for his first new music in almost three years. “Honey” is a dance-ready single accompanied by a trippy directed music video Richard Kenworthy. In the clip, viewers travel through a series of flamingo photos in an endless optical illusion. Watch the video for the song below.
After the shutdown Suddenly In 2020, Caribou released a remix version of this album the following year, with contributions from Toro y Moi, Jessy Lanza, Four Tet, Floating Points and others. In August 2021, Snaith also shared Caribou's single “You Can Do It” with a highly entertaining video of dogs jumping for frisbees.
Next weekend, Snaith will perform a new stage at Coachella with Jamie xx and Floating Points. Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat will headline the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Also set to perform are the reunited No Doubt, Blur, Ice Spice, J Balvin, Peso Pluma and dozens more.
