Charli XCX has new music in the works with her fiancé George Daniel.
During a recent appearance on Spout's podcast, the Boys singer revealed that she and her fiancé have been working on new music together.
“We've been doing a few things together. We've got some ideas in the works,” Charlie teased. “It's funny, I've never been in a relationship with someone I've worked with, so it's like a whole new dynamic, but it's cool.”
Charlie confirmed: “There will probably be a few songs he's worked on with me.”
The British singer got engaged to the 1975 drummer in November. They first met when they both appeared in No Rome's 2021 hit Spinning and dated in 2022.
Charlie also recalled seeing George working with partner Matty Healy in the studio, noting that the pair have a “completely different” process to her.
“They take a long time when they make a record and I've generally been very fast in the past,” the singer shared. “That was part of my process, that spontaneous, instinctive thing.”
He continued, “When I'm around them, I've definitely adjusted to the idea of sitting on songs, reworking things, playing them to friends, going back and forth and living with the songs a little bit more, so that's a way to My process has been perfected.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Charli admitted that she finds it “stressful” to be sent other musicians' work for feedback.
“It's so stressful to have another pop star's music on your phone. It's like walking around with a bomb in your bag,” she said. “It's so stressful.”
