Singer officially announces the new album Everything I thought I was with trailer narrated by Benicio Del Toro
After you spent it After last week teasing a new album, Justin Timberlake returned to the stage on Friday with a small concert in his hometown of Memphis, where the singer debuted a new song called “Selfish.”
The track — not to be confused with “Selfish” by Timberlake's former band NSync — believed to be the first single from the upcoming album Everything I thought it waswhich Timberlake had teased on social media the week before his Orpheum Theater “One Night Only” concert.
After the show, Timberlake officially announced the album with a teaser trailer narrated by actor Benicio Del Toro. In the 30-second video, Timberlake is seen standing back to the camera over a model of a gas station alone in the desert, with a painted sunset in the distance. “What the hell is he staring at?” Del Toro wonders in his voice.

The full version of “Selfish” – and probably more details about it Everything I thought it was — will likely appear next week as Timberlake is booked to appear at both The Tonight Show on Thursday ahead of his return to Saturday night live two days later.
