Dubbed “the wettest party in the world,” S2O Festival made a splash over the weekend with its U.S. debut at the Brooklyn Mirage.
S2O, one of Asia’s leading festival brands, launched in Bangkok in 2015 and has since organised large-scale festivals in Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Vietnam. The festival is highly regarded for its interactive water effects, immersing fans in euphoria alongside an electrifying electronic music lineup.
Its organizers are now celebrating a successful U.S. debut over Labor Day weekend. Headliners Marshmello and Subtronics rocked the Brooklyn Mirage alongside Alan Walker, Timmy Trumpet, ARMNHMR, LEVEL UP and a special B2B set between Said The Sky and EDM.com Class of 2021 star William Black, among others.
EDM.com I was on the ground to capture all the chaos.
“I was definitely a little nervous about the water at first, but I came prepared with a case for my camera,” said Kelly Knisel, who captured the festival for EDM.com“It ended up being one of the craziest crowd experiences I've ever had. Everyone there loved the water jets! And, as is typical of ravers, everyone helped me keep my camera dry and gave me their towels to help dry it off.”
