It appears that Ye, formerly Kanye West, may have been humiliated by the backlash he caused himself when he made several anti-Semitic rants. Yeezus is once again trying to apologize to the Jewish community for his Nazi words.
For weeks now, Ye has been pushing back the release of his latest album vultures, and according to TMZ, Ye now plans to release a 40-minute apology video before the album officially hits streaming platforms. Could this be why Ye is delaying the album release? We don't know, but his fans since day one have been freaking out and taking to social media to express their frustration every time a new release day goes by without the album dropping.
Although Ye recently issued an apology, it didn't seem necessary as many saw it as a fugazi attempt to get back into the good graces of the Jewish community. Now it looks like Ye will get it right with his next apology attempt, and it could be quite a big one.
Per TMZ:
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the controversial rapper rounded up some camera guys to shoot a lengthy apology video several weeks ago — and we're told it ended up running about 40 minutes … with Ye speaking directly to the camera.
We are told in no uncertain terms, Ye “went crazy” and at times it was impossible to decipher what he was saying.
One more thing about that apology… our sources tell us that the footage is supposed to be released sometime before his new album, “Vultures,” which is scheduled for release on February 9th — this after several delays that date from the end of last year.
Spending 40 minutes apologizing to the Jewish community and obviously getting confused at times? He looks pretty Trump to him. How could this go wrong?
There's no word on when the video in question will be released (or if it actually will be released), but you better believe that once it does, social media will either defend it or tear it down. We just hope he doesn't say something off the wall like “the holocaust was a choice” or something.
