Chris Brown is a stage pro. C. Breezy brought the 2024 11:11 tour to New Jersey's Prudential Center on Wednesday night (June 12) and faced a series of malfunctions that he encountered.
Brown thought it was going to be a standard performance of “Under the Influence” – where he's suspended in the air – but quickly realized it wasn't when he wasn't brought back to the ground during the song, leaving him hanging above the stage. While the dancers below him couldn't do much to help, concert crews at the Prudential Center sprung into action and brought out a ladder to unhook him and bring him down to safety.
However, the hiccups didn't stop CB from singing. He went on to perform the song without too much trouble to give the Newark fans the show they wanted. However, Brown looks visibly frustrated as soon as he jumps off the ladder, shouting at one of the crew while pointing at them.
The singer will be in the New York area for the rest of the week, with a show scheduled for Friday in Long Island (June 14), before taking over the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Father's Day (June 16).
The 11:11 tour kicked off June 5 in Detroit and features support from Muni Long, Ayra Starr and Maeta. It was another successful arena so far and, of course, the signing meet and greet photos have gone viral since the trip on social media once again.
