After years of secrecy, Deathpact are finally ready to release their debut album, OF DARKNESS.
According to a press release shared with EDM.com, the anonymous electronic music project's “DebUt album initial stream” will be released on May 31. The release may be more than just an album, considering the all-caps letters spell out “DUAL.” However, true to the enigmatic nature of Deathpact, only time will tell.
In addition to the album reveal, the collective has shared the next single. OF DARKNESS after last month's “NEMESIS.” A vocal-driven outing, “HOLD ON” is a plaintive track with soft, languid production not often found in her distorted arrangements. Its aching keys, however, eventually fade away and give way to a menacing drum & bass drop with crunching saws and overactive drums.
This new single follows the reveal of Deathpact's “Eternity Research Group” experience, which will see Denver fans go through an initiation and training before gaining access to a VIP section of their Mission Ballroom show in June.
