Drake made his own entrance to Kendrick Lamar's famous The heart series with the defense “The Heart Part 6” on Sunday (May 5).
The Aretha Franklin sample diss was released Sunday night on YouTube with a cover of an Instagram comment made by Dave Free with black heart and heart in a Instagram photo posted by Kendrick's fiancee Whitney Alford with their kids.
Drake continued to double down on domestic violence allegations against the Compton rapper as well as Lamar's manager Dave Free, who allegedly fathered an illegitimate child with Whitney. (Whitney follows Free on IG but not Lamar).
“And why isn't Whitney denying all the allegations/ Why is she following Dave Free and not Mr. Morale/ You haven't seen the kids in six months, the distance is wild/ Dave leaves heart emojis under the kid's pics,” he raps.
The 6 God then shifted focus to debunk the pedophilia claims Lamar made on previous tracks like “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us.”
“Talking about anything with a kid, let's get to it now/ This Epstein angle was the mess I've been waiting for/ TikTok videos you've collected and remixed/ Instead of being in direct pointers/ You'd rather grab your pen and errant s–t “, he questions.
He continued later in “The Heart Part 6” by mentioning his friendship with the 20-year-old Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown. “Only f—–g with Whitney, no Millie Bobby Brown, I would never look twice at any teenager,” Drizzy declares.
As for the claims that he had a secret 11-year-old daughter that he hid from the world Kendrick rapped on “Meet the Grahams,” Drake claimed that OVO created the story as bait to trick the former TDE rapper, who O Lamar took it and ran with it.
“We planned for a week and then we gave you the information/ An eleven-year-old daughter, I bet she'll get it/ We thought about giving a fake name or a destination,” he recalls.
Drake ended the five-minute marathon by speaking directly to Kendrick, while seeming frustrated by the alleged lies he's been spewing in the controversy, as he claims his bars were just facts.
“You'd be a worthy competitor if I was really a predator and you didn't lie to every blog or editor, but it is what it is,” he raps with a sigh.
Metro Boomin doesn't back down from Drake as he reacted to “The Heart Part 6” with a Chris Paul meme essentially saying that the OVO boss is still losing a lot of points in his battle with K. Dot.
“The Heart Part 6” follows Drake's “Family Matters” with diss appearances from Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar didn't give Drizzy's “Family Matters” an hour in the spotlight before firing back with the scathing “Meet the Grahams” on Friday night (May 3), followed by the Mustard-produced “Not Like Us” less than 24 hours later later.
It's anyone's guess where this goes from here, with the two rappers digging in their heels and firing at will to close out a historic hip-hop weekend.
