The single, on Warner Records, debuted at the top of the chart in November and added its 10th week at the summit in the most recently published tally, dated February 24.
After his death in 1926, Houdini has been the subject of other chart hits. Walter Brennan spent a week at No. 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1962 with “Houdini”; Kon Kan hit No. 33 on Dance Singles Sales in 1989 with “Harry Houdini”; and Promotion of the People “Houdini” peaked at No. 37 on Alternative Airplay in 2012.
