Ella Langley's 'You Look Like You Love Me' Featuring Riley Green Breaks Into Top 10 Bulletin boardCountry Airplay chart (dated Oct. 26), up two spots to No. 10. The traditional track rose 6% to 16.6 million audience impressions Oct. 11-17, according to Luminate.
Langley and Green co-wrote the song with Aaron Raitiere and Will Bundy produced it. It's from Langley's 14-track LP Hungoverwhich opened at No. 17 best on Top Country Albums in August. A deluxe version of the set (Still Hungover), with 19 songs, is expected on November 1st.
Langley, 25, of Hope Hull, Ala., lands her first top 10 on Country Airplay with her second entry, following “Strangers,” featuring Kameron Marlowe, which peaked at No. 58 in July. She becomes the first woman to enter the top 10 with an original entry as an exclusive headliner since Ashley Cooke, who sent “Your Place” to No. 2 in June.
Green adds his fourth Country Airplay top 10 and first since Luke Combs' “Different 'Round Here,” on which he was featured, climbed to No. 2 in February. His debut, 'There Was This Girl', reached No.3 in March 2019, and Thomas Rhett's 'Half of Me', featuring Green, topped the charts for a week in November 2022.
Post Malone, Shelton 'Pour' It On
Post Malone's “Pour Me a Drink,” featuring Blake Shelton, spends third week atop Country Airplay (29.7 million, down 5%).
Post Malone's second leader and Shelton's 29th is just the fourth to reign for at least three frames among the top 20 Country Airplay No. for four weeks starting in June. Rounding out the list, Sam Hunt's “Outskirts” led for three weeks starting in April, and Shaboozey's “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” spent seven weeks at No. 1 starting in August.
Meanwhile, Post Malone makes history as he becomes the first artist to send two originally promoted singles in the format to No. 1 on Country Airplay for at least three weeks each. Both “Pour Me a Drink” and “I Had Some Help” are from his LP F-1 Triswhich spent its first six weeks on the Top Country Albums chart at No. 1.
