No one should have all that power. of UPROXX New editorial director and legendary Hip-Hop scribe Elliott Wilson is no longer welcome in Toronto and it's reportedly to do with Drake being salty.
Wilson spoke The bigger picture podcast about the outcome after deciding that Kendrick Lamar came out on top in the highly entertaining back-and-forth with Drake.
Wilson revealed that Drake was in his feelings after co-host DJ Hed pointed out that Wilson was no longer wearing OVO gear and asked him how he felt about Drake not following him.
The Petty 6 God
“It's funny because Drake is the kind of dude that, even if he's not fighting you, he's still following you. So, it's not an unfollow type. [But] I saw someone in my comments saying, “How do you feel about Drake not following you?” I have my feelings about it… but look, it's hard… that's my guy, I respect him.” Wilson said.
Continuing the conversation, Wilson revealed that he received “calls” from people telling him that she shouldn't set foot in Toronto right now.
“I got the calls from the OGs – I'm not really welcome in Toronto right now. I grew up in New York and you know not to mess with other people's projects. You may visit Shorty, but you have no business dealing with these projects that aren't looking for trouble,” Wilson said. “Well I wouldn't go to TO if me and Drake weren't good. I just think it's a difficult time to manage those relationships with artists… You develop these connections with them and then you have to manage those relationships and the ups and downs of that.”
This is all because Wilson agreed with everyone else that Kendrick Lamar won.
Drake is a very insignificant person.
Speaking of Drake, he just dropped in on a new song by Sexy Redd featuring BBL Drizzy beats.
