Founded in 1994 in New York City, Fat Beats first made a name for itself with brick-and-mortar stores in both New York and Los Angeles. Although it closed its physical doors in 2010, the company continues to support the underground hip-hop community through its online presence and remains active in promoting and distributing artists.
