Fat Joe is bringing his talents back to television. The Starz Network tapped him to host an upcoming interview series.
Deadline is reference that the Bronx, New York native will use his charisma and signature humor on the network. Titled Fat Joe Talks, the show will “give viewers unique access to the lives of today's most influential figures driving the cultural zeitgeist.” During the 30-minute episodes, MC “Lean Back” will travel the country and meet different personalities.
Starz expressed its excitement about the project in an official statement. “Fat Joe speaks is an exciting foray into the conversation, and who better than Joe—a legend in his own right—to lead challenging conversations that touch on fun and matter to our audience,” said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming. “We are thrilled to be working with Joe and our partners at SpringHill and Embassy Row to launch this incredible show, offering authentic, behind-the-scenes, rare access to these cultural icons.” Fat Joe gained popularity as a media personality with his Instagram Live show. He went on to be a guest host for The Wendy Williams Show and hosts the BET Hip-Hop Awards two years in a row.
There is currently no set premiere date Fat Joe speaks.
