Hip-hop legend Flavor Flav stopped by Billboard News and spoke with Rania Aniftos about using AI to translate his new song “Every Where Man” with Chuck D, recording new music from Public Enemy, his possible return to the reality shows and being a Taylor fan. Fast and more!
Flavor Flavor:
I can sustain a few notes besides the national anthem.
Rania's comments:
We were going to get into it!
Flavor Flavor:
Do not go there! Do not go there!

Oh, look at this. This is Flavor Flav, and this here is Billboard News.
Rania's comments:
Hello everyone! I'm Rania Aniftos from Billboard News, and today is a very exciting day in the studio because we have the one and only Flavor Flav. Welcome!
Flavor Flavor:
In the building!
Rania's comments:
In the building! You just released an AI, AI generated, AI facilitated song, “Every Where Man” with your old Public Enemy friend Chuck D. So tell me a little bit about how that came about. What was the inspiration behind this?
Flavor Flavor:
My buddy Chuck D mentioned to me about making a record called “Every Where Man” because I’m every… Flavor Flav is everywhere, man. You know what I'm talking? So Chuck and I sat down. Chuck took the pen and put it to the paper. Actually, Chuck D wrote this song. He writes it, I recite it like this, you know what I'm saying? That's how this record really came about, because Chuck is always ahead of his time, so we've now transposed this song into about 30 different languages. This Spanish song was bothering me because I thought, “Wow, listen to my voice in Spanish. Hear my voice in…”
Rania's comments:
Korean!
Flavor Flavor:
Like Korean. Yeah, you know, and I never thought I wouldn't speak Korean. You know what I'm talking? But hey, thanks to AI! And not only that, but I'm glad this is happening because a lot of AI has been misused, you know? And there are a lot of people who don't use it correctly, so I feel like I'm one of the first to show the example of using AI correctly.
