Fred releases a new album with collaborations from Skrillex, Four Tet and more

Fred again… has revealed a new album, ten daysalong with a star-studded track list.

Scheduled to premiere on September 6, ten days The album features 10 tracks, all of which are collaborations except one. The album features notable collaborations from Skrillex, Four Tet, Anderson .Paak, Joy Anonymous, Sampha, The Japanese House, and legendary singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris, among others.

Fred announced the new album on social media, painting a picture of a deeply personal work where gigantic emotions nestle in microscopic moments between friends and strangers.

“My new album is called ten days“It's ten songs about ten days,” Fred writes. “There have been a lot of crazy, huge moments in the last year, but basically all of these are about small, quiet, intimate moments. Some of them are the most intensely joyful things I've ever felt, and some of them are the other side of things. And some days I don't want to talk about a lot of them because I'm not the only person for whom it was an important day, if that makes sense.”

Fred's latest solo album, Current life 3, was released almost two years ago before winning the 2024 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. The British electronic music superstar also released 2023 Secret Lifean ambient LP released in collaboration with Brian Eno; and USBan innovative compilation project that he is called “an endless album” to which he will continually add as he continues making music.

Before the autumn launch of ten daysFans can also pre-order a custom design. vinyl The package contains a 12″ 140g white vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, an A2 poster with 10 images depicting each song on the album and individual song liner notes written by Fred. The vinyl is scheduled to ship on October 25th.
