Gem & Jam Festival's The full lineup for its 16th annual installment is easily one of the festival's most stacked bills yet. The decorated festival, scheduled to take place from February 2 to 4 next year, will last three days and will feature a combination of music, art, performance and gem and mineral exhibitions. If that wasn't enough, the festival takes place in the picturesque desert setting of the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona – which adds another layer of beauty and excitement to an already electrifying event. As is tradition, the festival will offer amenities such as camping, RV passes, luxury glamping options, late-night musical performances, daytime workshops, delectable food and drink, a famous vendor bazaar, and of course, constant music offerings and art throughout the event.
With so many experiences to offer, we thought we'd take a moment to focus on the musical side of Gem & Jam by highlighting five of our favorite acts set to play. As you'll quickly see below via the festival website, the line-up of artists booked for this year's festival is incredibly eclectic, appealing to a wide range of music lovers and festival goers. Mr. Carmack – Seriously, does anything really need to be said here? Carmack is one of the most pioneering and innovative forces in trap music of all time. If you call yourself a fan of bass music, catching his set at Gem & Jam is an absolute must.
trees – The fast-rising bass producer from Maine has been absolutely crushing it lately and we've really enjoyed watching his evolution as an artist over the years. We're especially digging his high-octane new set with Barclay Crenshaw and Strategy, which you can stream below.
Boogie T – The New Orleans dubstep phenomenon continues to impress, whether from its own bass production to Boogie T.rio's live band (who are also set to perform at the festival). Check out his collaboration with Ganja White Night below to hear what we mean.
LP Giobbi – We've got you covered with some of our favorite basses to catch at the festival – and on the other side of the spectrum, if you're looking for a euphoric, atmospheric experience, LP Giobbi is one hell of an artist you don't. I do not want to lose. Check out T. Swift's remix below to catch up.
Daily Bread – Okay, back to the bass. Daily Bread has been taking the scene by storm lately thanks to their sound, which combines dubstep influences with groovy sampling and infectious melodies. His latest effort “Back To The Moon” is just further proof of his studio prowess.
